Abstract The femoro-acetabular impingement (FAI) syndrome is a motion-related disorder of the hip joint with premature contact between acetabulum and proximal femur. It relatively new clinical entity no strict treatment protocols guidelines have been established yet. Furthermore, patients are often misdiagnosed not properly treated. We report case young adult female patient presenting bilateral FAI-CAM type deformity during last 2 years. An individual progressive global elastic resistant training program was which involved stimulation to all affected muscle groups using Pilates concept. Hip-specific functional lower limb strengthening targeted deep external rotators, abductors flexors in transverse, frontal, sagittal planes. Improving dynamic stability Core main aim challenging physiotherapy this case. A good result registered at 6 months follow up. All therapeutic activities were performed pain free range motion paramount importance for achieving excellent compliance successful outcome respectively. applied strategy demonstrated be reliable could helpful tool armamentarium contemporary when dealing FAI group patients.
